Each concert is $50, $40 for members, $10 for students.
A subscription to all four main concerts is $160.
The concerts will start at 7:30PM. The doors will open at 7:00PM.
There will be no intermission and no post-concert reception.

This concert features some of the finest works by Handel and Bach.
Edmonton’s own soprano superstar Dawn Bailey will be featured in 3 of Handel’s German arias. Bach’s spectacular cantata 158 will be sung by bass Roderick Bryce.
Baroque violinist Naomi Delafield will perform Bach’s hauntingly beautiful Adagio from the violin sonata in G minor, while Josephine van Lier will play the 2nd cello suite in d minor on baroque cello.
Handel wrote several splendid duets for soprano, bass, and continuo, and three of those will finish the program.
With a cast of stellar Alberta period performers, this concert will be a delight for the senses.

Due to the prolonged restrictions by the Government of Alberta, the musicians are unable to rehearse for the concert Pièces en Concerts by Jean Philippe Rameau on Sunday, January 24, because they can not be with 3 people in one room. This concert will be moved forward to September 2021

The complete Pièces de Clavecin en Concerts is the sole chamber music work by the great composer Jean-Philippe Rameau (1683-1764). The Concerts are full-fledged trios where the three instruments play roles of equal importance. For the first time in the history of music, the bass does not double the keyboard player’s left hand, but, covering a range of nearly four octaves, has an independent, virtuosic role, of the kind that would appear much later, in Schubert trios!
Never before performed in their entirety in Edmonton, this is a rare opportunity to hear these magnificent pieces on period instruments.
